Field Sales Representative, US Army, Public Sector

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of quota-carrying sales experience in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS products and platforms.
  • Experience planning, pitching and implementing territory business plans.
  • Experience engaging with accounts, promoting a portfolio of products at C-level.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, both domestically in the US and internationally as needed.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with commercial and legal negotiations working with procurement, legal, and business teams.
  • Experience promoting Google Cloud computing technologies to organizations across geographies.
  • Knowledge of US Army Cloud adoption, contract vehicles, programs of record (e.g., Cyber, Tactical, Intel, Business Systems, etc.).
  • Ability to present analyses and break down technical concepts into simple terms to present to diverse, technical, and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and import and export ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.

As a Field Sales Representative (FSR) for Public Sector, you will be working with Public Sector accounts related to the US Army globally. You will engage with senior executives to build on existing relationships, establish relationships in new areas, and act as a business partner to understand customer's challenges and goals. You will advocate the innovative power of products and solutions to make public organizations more productive, collaborative, and mobile.

We focus on helping United States public sector institutions accelerate their digital transformations, and we continue to make significant investments and grow our team to meet the complex needs of local, state and federal government and educational institutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000-$164,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build executive relationships with decision makers, bring relationships to help grow into new organizations.
  • Negotiate and manage business-cycles, often presenting to senior leadership.
  • Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, and work collaboratively with Customer Engineers and Google Partners.
  • Understand each customer’s technology footprint, strategic growth plans and business drivers, technology strategy, and external landscape.
  • Drive business development, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
