About the job
As a member of Ads Policy, Risk and Compliance, you will support initiatives that safeguard Google’s ability to operate in an increasingly ads ecosystem, with new and at times fragmented laws and reporting requirements. You will be part of a team responsible for core risk management and compliance including assessment, reporting, remediation and governance. You will undertake efforts to make risk and compliance for GBO, driving impact at scale across a global operation.
You have a bias for action, bring structure to challenges, and move from ideas to execution. You are experienced at solving ambiguous business problems, influencing and challenging stakeholders, bringing a balance of thinking and pragmatism in getting things done.
You are known as a team player who can work in rapidly changing environments, able to thrive in ambiguity, and demonstrate execution skills with minimal oversight.Responsibilities
- Contribute to developing, building, and maintaining the risk and compliance program on behalf of the Global Business Organization, coordinating across partnerships, sales and support teams globally.
- Collaborate with second line teams on control design, training and awareness initiatives and issue/incident management programs to ensure compliance with policy requirements.
- Lead initiatives to identify risks, potential gaps in systematic processes, and deliver steps to remediate and mitigate areas of concern. Build working relationships with cross-functional partners, such as other first line or second line risk teams.
- Analyze data and insights by evaluating business drivers, trends, and operating metrics across Google’s ads operations.
- Communicate findings and progress to executive leadership with updates and facilitation; provide timely updates on urgent, business impacting issues as needed.
