Apps and Web UX Consultant, International Growth Team

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in a business technology sales or customer success role.
  • Experience working with app and web clients in a UX research, design, consulting or advisory role.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders.
  • Experience analyzing quantitative or qualitative data to inform decision-making.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience working with mobile apps and web UX growth strategies as a consultant or in house.
  • Understanding of the mobile app development life-cycle including App Store Optimisation, UX A/B Testing, pricing and business generation strategies.
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices and expertise in conducting heuristic evaluations and engaged analyses.
  • Ability in understanding and working with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the UX space.
  • Ability to work separately and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.

In this role, you will be a trusted customer experience advisor and partner to our EMEA Ads clients. You will be consulting with these top clients on their export potential, strategizing on how to maximise that potential through CX/UX to deliver incremental growth for themselves, and ultimately Google. Your entrepreneurial spirit, communication skills and passion for International Growth allows you to identify the biggest levers for success, and present unique insights that shape our clients plans.

The Global Business Strategy (GBS) team helps make Google's complex business organization run smoothly. The group drives core planning activities and develops frameworks to integrate global business strategies across the Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships organizations. Experts in both Google’s go to market organization and the industries where we compete, they drive strategic and operational improvements while working closely with Senior Leadership on a range of critical initiatives and projects. The GBS team is at the forefront of addressing the Business organization’s most strategic priorities, reporting and working directly for Google's Chief Business Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-impact consultations and partner with sales to identify growth opportunities for top strategic clients in order to improve customer experience to drive down operating costs and increase customer profitability and investment with Google.
  • Become a thought leader on international expansion. Build strong internal and external relationships to help develop the program and better support customer needs. Develop the customer experience (CX) and Apps provider ecosystem by identifying and onboarding partners to support across additional issues. 
  • Track results, gather feedback, and refine the program to scale its impact.
