About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As a Senior Program Manager, you will drive the efficient delivery of Google’s data center portfolio through the organization of data, implementation of scalable processes, and the use of professional tools. You'll lead, collaborate, negotiate, and communicate to identify areas for improvement, develop plans and processes, and execute changes. You'll manage project budgets and schedules, identify risks, and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders. You will also support decision making analysis, using objective data to support recommendations that are in line with Google’s goals.

In this role, you will drive multiple strategic programs and business operations for the Google Data Centers (GDC) organization and Data Center Operations (DCOps). You'll solve ambiguous cross-functional challenges, ensuring alignment of senior stakeholders, and delivering downstream change management to drive business, strategic, and operational improvements. You'll act as a critical liaison between teams within and outside of GDC.

You'll focus on strategies and operations to advance GDC’s short-term and long-term goals, and translate ambiguous goals into clear, measurable objectives that drive consistency and efficiency across the organization.
