Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with coding in C++ or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 1 year of experience with distributed computing.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 4 years of experience in software development.
About the job
We own the Compute infrastructure Admission Controller under the Compute infrastructure Control Plane team. We are responsible for all product-related needs across shared fleet, ML fleet and Google Compute Engine (GCE) fleet, including a consistent and delightful end-to-end user experience, efficiency, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, implementation and productionization features in and support functionality at the physical Compute infrastructure cell level, or across cells.
- Communicate with partners across Alphabet to gather requirements and drive adoption efforts.
- Evaluate technical data, develop recommendations, and resolve advanced technical issues.
- Work with other groups on project-wide efforts
and provide technical leadership for small projects of moderate complexity and impact for Google, including coordinating project priorities.
