Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in commercial partner management, business development or consulting.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in partnership development including identifying partners, structuring/negotiating agreements and partner management, and handling sensitive or complex partnerships.
- Experience leading cross-functional process improvements, strong analytical and communication/facilitation skills.
- Passion for online safety and understanding of YouTube products.
- Ability to operate within and provide leadership with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Legal, Policy, Operations, etc.) and collaborate and influence across multiple levels of an organization.
- Excellent people and communication skills to formulate and articulate contractual, technical, financial or business points with partners or internal teams.
- An entrepreneurial or creative thinker, persistence, attention to detail, and demonstrated collaboration instincts.

The YouTube Product Partnerships team (YTPP) drives partner strategy and manages the key relationships that help to make YouTube’s products more universally accessible and useful. We own the business side of new products and initiatives, and our strategic partnerships seek to build, distribute, grow, and protect YouTube’s products globally. We know how to assess partnership opportunities in any situation, define a strategy, and work closely within our team, and with Product, Marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive critical partnerships that help evolve our business.
Trust & Safety is central to YouTube’s foundation of responsibility. Our team secure and manage critical partnerships for teams who define content policies, remove violative content, reduce borderline content and protect against the abuse of the YouTube Partner Program. We are seeking another stellar collaborator that thrives in an evolving environment, is interested in online harms, real world events and their connection to technology.
On the Product Partnerships team, you will secure and maintain strategic partnerships that help YouTube grow responsibly. You’ll work closely with the Trust & Safety Enforcement, Intelligence Desk and Policy teams to identify where outside expertise can strengthen our cross-functional efforts, enhance our understanding of rapidly developing trends and improve our existing technology. You’re as comfortable discussing how a partner could provide expertise as you are diving into the implications of such a partnership with Legal and Policy.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with Trust & Safety experts, including sourcing partners, structuring and negotiating agreements and diligently managing relationships.
- Lead cross-functionally to secure buy-in for partnerships, including problem-solving legal, policy, business, operational and technical complexities.
- Become a domain expert and thought leader in the Trust & Safety space.
