Head of Creative Works DACH, Germany

Minimum qualifications:

  • 13 years of experience working in the advertising industry.
  • 7 years of people management experience in leading customer focused teams.
  • Experience in the development, implementation, and execution of business strategies.
  • Experience working with customers and agency organizations.
  • Ability to communicate in English and German fluently as this is a customer facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in leading teams and proven track record in development and coaching of experienced teams/individuals.
  • Knowledge of the overall creative and media industry and track record of strategic and creative output that generates business, builds brands, and engages users.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments with a high degree of autonomy, comfortable with ambiguity, and operating in a complex environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills on C-level including probing, listening, and synthesizing across all levels of organizations.
  • Strong connections within the marketing, creative and media landscape in DACH.

Creative Works DACH is a dynamic team within Google that provides strategic creative value-add services to Google's largest customers in the DACH region. We empower companies to elevate their brand and communication campaigns in an AI-powered world by collaborating closely with customers and their creative partners on all aspects of their digital creative and marketing strategies with Google. Leveraging Google's diverse product range, with a strong emphasis on YouTube and AI-powered solutions, we enable our clients to seamlessly connect with their audiences and achieve their business objectives through creative excellence.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and
industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how
Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Creative Works team in DACH to deliver against quarterly and annual targets, coach and develop team members.
  • Partner closely with LCS vertical and horizontal management teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for clients to grow with our creative consulting and solutions. 
  • Work closely with other Branding Solutions teams to ensure a deep connection of our creative solutions and offering with all other branding solutions.
  • Build strong relationship with other cross-functional teams (e.g., gTech, Cloud) to ensure the technical infrastructure of scaled creative solutions.
  • Set up a compelling strategy for Creative Works in the DACH region to help our customers grow and stay the leader in creativity in the market, translating into short- and long-term revenue growth. Drive the development of AI-based creative solutions and tools.
