Strategic Partnerships Development Manager, T1 Apps, Sellside Monetization (Mandarin, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in client management and business or a related role.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently to partner with local stakeholders and clients in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in advertising, ads monetization, publishing, online services, or ad sales.
  • Experience managing clients or partners.
  • Knowledge of the mobile/gaming industry.
  • Ability to engage and negotiate with individual publishers and complex organizations.
  • Ability to independently identify and pursue strategic opportunities.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and data analysis skills.

The Sellside Monetization team enables digital platforms, properties and content creators by enriching digital ecosystems for all and developing products and partnerships using reach, insights, and people. The Sellside Greater China team is responsible for growing Google's business with publishers in web, apps and video in the local market with solutions including AdSense, AdMob, Ad Manager and other Google products.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor for partners. Engage with C-level clients, and provide strategic advice to drive further business growth.
  • Maintain a partner portfolio combined with a certain ratio of partners.
  • Maximize client business growth through account management and by promoting improvements and optimization strategies as a dedicated consultant.
  • Analyze market trends, and develop strategy and account plans for partners.
  • Work cross-functionally within online partnerships group (Sellside) and through the wider Google and Global Sellside organization.
