Head of Top Creator and Public Figure Partnerships

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience within the entertainment industry or creator-driven companies (e.g., video platforms, creator service providers, talent and management companies).
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing and negotiating agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or JD.
  • 5 years of experience managing people or teams.
  • Ability to grow in fluid, collaborative, and ambiguous start-up like environments where thoughtfulness, an entrepreneurial mindset, continuous execution, and relationships drive success.
  • Ability to use data to diagnose issues and opportunities within the creator ecosystem.

As a Strategic Partner Manager on the Content Partnerships team at YouTube, you'll have a unique opportunity to create long-lasting relationships with your portfolio of partners, and to apply and hone business skills in an entrepreneurial environment. You're comfortable working on complex content agreements with partners, as well as working cross-functionally with colleagues across multiple disciplines, to ensure our partners are positioned for success on YouTube and to provide the best possible experience for our users.

As Head of US Top Creator and Public Figure Partnerships, you will manage partnerships with the top Creators, Celebrities, Athletes and Thought-Leaders across YouTube. You will manage a team of partner managers who support the onboarding, growth and retention of some of the biggest names in entertainment.

You will discuss, complex issue resolution and partner management for top creator and public figure (Celebrity, athlete, thought-leader) partners. This position requires Excellent communication skills, cross-functional collaboration, partner and team management skills, and an understanding of the dynamics of the entertainment and creator economy landscapes.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $211,000-$300,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Contribute to a diverse team that drives the success of YouTube’s US Top Creator and Public Figure partnerships, while supporting a culture that encourages creative thinking and risk taking.
  • Grow a portfolio of creators and public figures across key metrics like watch time and earnings with a focus on accelerating our next generation of top talent.
  • Communicate and collaborate with a broad range of constituents, particularly in product, marketing and sales, as well as with external partners.
  • Leverage industry experience to discuss agreements and develop programs in alignment with cross-functional priorities.
  • Represent Strategy/Operations and Product teams, identifying insights that uncover issues or opportunities for creators and public figures.
