Talent Outreach Program Manager

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholder management within technical and non-technical domains.
  • Experience in event management, program management, public speaking, human resource management, student outreach, or recruiting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in stakeholder management.
  • Experience problem-solving within existing frameworks.
  • Ability to build relationships and deliver results in a cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent investigative skills.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

In this role, you will build long-term partnerships with students and universities, as well as industry bodies representing experienced talent. You will build and manage deep relationships with Business and POps leaders in Google’s Product and Business areas with the goal of building a representative long-term talent pipeline and fueling future-talent initiatives for your assigned portfolio. You will be a trusted advisor to your internal partners and Talent Outreach, using data-driven insights to identify and drive expanded impact opportunities. You will develop and execute various outreach and communication strategies aimed at promoting the Google brand and developing a pipeline of industry and leadership talent for short-term hiring needs and long-term pipeline development. You will contribute to the overall success of the team by providing high-quality client services.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on executing and supporting outreach plans for Campus to Executive talents.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with internal and external partner organizations to promote Google's brand. Collaborates with a range of stakeholders, requiring adeptness in navigating relationships and priorities.
  • Collaborate with the staffing teams to ensure that the outreach strategies help meet our hiring goals.
  • Track, analyze, and report on metrics and effectiveness of our engagement.
  • Operates within a dynamic environment, leveraging available tools and resources to identify and address challenges.
