Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience programming in Go.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 5 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- Experience in Python.
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence.
- Ability to perform security assessments.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of technical roadmaps and provide guidance for high-level strategic planning.
- Collaborate closely with information security engineers to develop new tools for product security consulting, response and research, especially (but not exclusively) related to AI agents.
- Understand and advise others on complex processes and workflows related to product security consulting and response.
- Design and implement Go, Backend systems and Python AI agents.
- Build new features and integrations on top of internal systems utilizing state of the art technologies.
