Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience with vendor management and running a global operations program.
  • 1 year of experience in vendor operations, managing vendor agreements.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree.
  • 2 years of experience creating data sets, data modeling, and reporting.

Global Partnerships is an exciting part of GBO that plays a critical part in capturing the AI opportunity for Google. The person will join a team that’s enabling GP teams to be as productive as possible while getting direct exposure to leaders across the organization.

The role will join the Project Bandwidth team in Global Partnerships. Project Bandwidth is a centralized shared services organization that’s designed to increase the productivity of our teams across Global Partnerships. The team’s mandate is to be as efficient and scaled as possible in our vendor operations of today and also look for areas across the business that could benefit from our vendorization model.

This role will be supporting our Global Partnerships business, focused on ensuring the success of the existing programs of our existing vendors, as well as, launching new programs of new vendors globally. Scale, gains in operational efficiency, and process optimization are your drivers, and you will work collaboratively with the key stakeholders and vendor operations team to drive existing efficiency strategies, technical solutions, and potentially new support offerings that will be enabled through our centralized shared services team that supports Google’s Global Partnerships organization.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Identify and integrate existing sub-scale programs into the centralized shared services team.
  • Manage the day-to-day vendor program for Global Partnerships workflows to ensure long-term success (e.g. onboarding new vendor programs, helping business teams set Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and track performance, handling invoicing/billing of programs, and managing systems access, hardware, etc. for vendor teams).
  • Facilitate and make decisions between quality, costs, resources, scope and time of programs.
  • Plan and identify program risks, create strategies for contingency planning, and solve program issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide regular program status to Global Stakeholders, maintaining project timelines and documentation.
