Live Solutions Consultant

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
  • Experience with Encoders, Cameras, Audio Codecs, Production Support, Streaming Video.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies.
  • 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience planning, designing and deploying streaming production workflows, interfacing with strategic partners, advertisers, or clients, project managing strategic initiatives, and managing the technical aspects of a partner's live production workflow and integrations - from ideation to post-production.
  • Knowledge of standard industry live production, including gear, processes, and practices.
  • Knowledge of YouTube Live Product.

As a Live Solutions Consultant, you will be a critical point of contact for live event escalation, providing comprehensive support for high-profile events. This includes proactive testing and issue identification, addressing technical questions, and contributing to strategic production planning. You will collaborate with Partner facing teams and engineering teams, translating client needs into product solutions and creating feature requests based on new products, use cases, and competitive analysis. Your responsibilities also encompass delivering product training to both internal and external stakeholders, partnering with Product and Event Managers to monitor project progress, ensure successful broadcast delivery and help troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.

Responsibilities
