Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in software development using Java or Kotlin.
- 2 years of experience in leading teams.
- Experience in working with Android Operating Systems (OS) internals, Applications, Telephony Stack or Mobile wireless technologies.
- Experience in quality improvements with test coverage and code refactoring.
- Experience in building and scaling mobile applications.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in cellular connectivity - Data, Telecom, eSIM or Satellite.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
- Develop new features across the Telephony software stack including Android framework, applications and Google back end servers.
- Collaborate with other Software Engineers (SWEs), Product Manager (PMs), UX designers, cross functional teams and external partners.
- Debug and fix bugs reported during field testing and user feedback.
- Design, implement metrics to monitor production quality and impact.
- Identify and implement performance optimizations.
