Senior Property Tax Analyst

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in tax.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP.
  • Experience with property tax compliance and valuation matters in various jurisdictions.
  • Ability to have meticulous attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to organize voluminous quantities of tax data using software tools.
  • Ability to work separately with limited guidance/supervision.
  • Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle large datasets (i.e. SQL).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $137,000-$201,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Participate in special projects/studies around: tax incentives, financial records and systems, investment planning, tax modeling, valuation analysis, and other property tax projects.
  • Assist in coordinating with outside advisors to ensure compliance with property tax filings, audits/appeals, bill payments, and tax planning.
  • Support the build and development of property tax calculations for Google properties.
  • Develop databases and models and conduct in-depth analysis of tax data for audits, compliance, valuation, and due diligence projects.
  • Collaborate with tax, various cross-functional teams, and outside service providers in resolving complex tax positions and assist in establishing policies and procedures for tax position analysis and documentation to minimize tax exposure.
