Chief of Staff, Energy and Location Strategy (English)

About the job

As Chief of Staff, you will drive strategic alignment and operational excellence within the Energy and Locations Strategy (ELS) organization. You will direct and influence cross-functional initiatives, fostering collaboration and ensuring team objectives are met. You will guide and develop talent, while navigating projects and priorities. You will oversee issue resolution, promote innovation, and optimize team structure for maximum productivity and retention. Additionally, you will direct the design and implementation of efficient operational processes, ensuring seamless integration across multiple teams and work streams. You will manage differing viewpoints and drive consensus that will be critical to success on large-scale, impactful projects. You will work with cross-functional temas. You will partner with a wide variety of teams at Google to deliver infrastructure that powers Google’s global presence.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $208,000-$296,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Identify problems and drive both tactical and strategic solutions, increasing operational efficiency year by year. Interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels.
  • Support  Energy and Locations Strategy(ELS) Leadership in strategic planning and resource allocation. Organize, monitor, and streamline ELS internal processes for operational excellence.
  • Engage ELS in learning opportunities to uplevel skills and develop team talent.
  • Partner across a wide variety of functions at Google to drive change in a complex environment. Direct cross-functional teams and manage multiple simultaneous projects with different priorities. Work with many cross-functional teams to deliver a world-class infrastructure that powers Google’s global presence.
  • Coordinate activities related to annual review processes and talent management.
