Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 7 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience designing learning programs and curriculum, building structures to support learner competency attainment, or creating strategies in a hybrid classroom environment.
  • Experience with U.S. apprenticeships landscape, including policies, frameworks, and notable ecosystem partners

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with inclusive design, early career / workforce programs, and working with historically marginalized communities
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders and leaders.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous, dynamic environments and manage complexity.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with keen business judgment.

In this role, you will lead key sectors of the portfolio such as the regions Apprenticeship Program’s current ecosystem offering, and exploratory efforts to evolve the program’s educational offering. You will oversee bodies of work that are core to the program’s quality and operations, such as the program’s related technical instruction strategy and delivery.

It's our job to help inform and educate users, advertisers, partners, opinion leaders--and our own employees--about the benefits of Google's products, our distinctive company culture/values, and our approach to the big public policy issues of the day. To succeed here, you'll combine creativity with organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines simultaneously, as well as enjoy pitching to journalists, bloggers and commentators, or producing internal communications and events for our employees. Things happen quickly at Google and to get stuff done here you need to be an enthusiastic team player who can work cross-functionally and isn't hesitant to take risks or try new things.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$234,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Leverage education and workforce development experience, apprenticeships expertise, and external partnerships to design and lead a suite of Google’s scaled solutions built for the ecosystem to enable apprenticeships adoption. 
  • Oversee and deliver the program’s related technical instruction delivery and curriculum development strategy. Organize strategy and manage a cross-functional team to deliver critical programming, working closely with several workstream owners.
