Industry Executive, Federal Financials, Public Sector

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in a leadership role in public sector organization, overseeing the advancement of priority initiatives such as technology implementation, managing budget and procurement decisions, or personnel/resource management.
  • Experience managing relationships with executive-level decision-makers across public sector entities.
  • Experience working with Federal Financials entities.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience influencing the direction of strategic initiatives, technology adoption, and funding allocation.
  • Experience evaluating vendors, making key procurement decisions, and shaping internal policies or procedures that impact operations.
  • Understanding of Google Cloud or other cloud-based technologies.
  • Understanding of the Federal financials technology landscape.
  • Knowledge of current pain points, emerging technologies, and potential opportunities for innovation.

About the job

As an Industry Executive for Federal Financials covering the Google Public Sector, you will leverage existing relationships with C-level executives, develop new relationships, and act as a trusted business partner with an understanding of agency issues and goals. In this role, you will guide Google’s strategy in federal financials and promote products to make organizations more productive, collaborative, and mobile.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the Federal Financials sector, and collaborate with Business, Customer Engineering, and Google Partners to pinpoint and secure business opportunities, tailoring solutions based on sector expertise.
  • Maintain an understanding of the evolving Federal Financials landscape, including technology priorities, initiatives, and the evolving regulatory environment. Guide Google's strategy accordingly.
  • Develop Federal Financials solutions working with and leading cross-organizational resources to bring to life solutions and leading the launch within the Go-To-Market (GTM) organization.
  • Leverage your existing network of C-Level executives within the Federal Financials industry and continue to build partnerships to solidify Google's position as a trusted technology provider.
