  • Experience with SQL, building dashboards, data collection and transformation, visualization, or experience in a scripting/programming language (e.g., Python).
  • Experience with machine learning.
  • Ability to influence cross-functionally at various organizational levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Fast-paced, dynamic, and proactive, YouTube’s Trust and Safety team is dedicated to making YouTube a safe place for users, viewers, and content creators around the world to create, and express themselves. Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust and Safety team is on the frontlines of enhancing the YouTube experience, building internet safety, and protecting free speech in our ever-evolving digital world.

In this role, you'll be part of a tight-knit, global team with exposure across all of Trust and Safety’s verticals, as well as a close partnership with YouTube product teams. This role is highly visible and has a large scope.

As part of your core work, you'll design and implement enforcement and operations workflows to support new product/feature launches, monitor KPIs for your product portfolio, and provide timely and clear communications across the YouTube Trust and Safety organization. With your expertise in new and existing products, you’ll also provide key insights and recommendations as part of new feature risk assessments.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000-$157,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement integrations between business objectives and business systems, including designing and building strategies that support these business systems.
  • Conduct analysis, optimize business performance, and deliver within relevant product areas. This includes analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing solutions that improve business performance.
  • Manage projects involving multiple stakeholders, tight timelines, important organizational implications, and changing circumstances.
  • Use Google’s big data to conduct data-oriented analysis, architect metrics, synthesize information, solve problems, and influence business decision-making by presenting insights and market trends.
