Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in advertising, marketing technology, management consulting, or product management.
  • 2 years of experience in a client-facing roles within in sales, consulting, digital advertising, e-commerce, or publishing
  • 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience influencing stakeholders with presentation skills.
  • Understanding of performance marketing and the levers that drive success, with app-specific knowledge and experience
  • Ability to think strategically in analyzing the needs of clients and teams, with a proven track record in managing ambiguity that comes with projects.
  • Ability to build data driven insights to influence senior decision makers.
  • Ability to lead virtual project teams and work cross-functionally within the organization.
  • Passion for product development with an attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple work-streams in a fluid environment.

The Product Sales and Activation go-to-market (GTM) team is the link between Product and Sales at Google. We take product innovations and help turn them into solutions for our customers to get the most out of their investment with Google. We are passionate about all things digital and want to build/shape advertising, operations, and customer experience.

In this role, you will work on a team which builds on knowledge of our product offerings to influence global product strategy and position the value for advertisers. It involves a mix of strategic programs, product commercialization, and deliver initiatives with sales and product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support quarterly planning/goal setting, facilitating activation across sales teams (including leading pre-pitch/co-pitch consults on top opportunities), monitoring and reporting on key drivers/metrics.
  • Work with Global Product Leads (GPLs) and Product Managers (PMs) to ensure collaterals such as narratives, one sheeters, dashboards are developed. Leverage those resources to equip sellers with product knowledge. Collate information regarding common objections, strategies, product knowledge gaps, etc, and lead product training (internal and external training).
  • Share customer and sales product feedback with Global Product Leads in order to ensure the product roadmap reflects the needs of GCS sellers and customers.
  • Collaborate with Global Product leads to provide feedback and insights that improve our products and drive further innovation.
  • Equip business teams to drive adoption and optimal use of products to maximize advertiser benefit and Google business growth.
