Preferred qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in program management, with 8 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Experience leading and delivering programs.
  • Experience building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Knowledge of program management methodologies, best practices, and tools.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment, with excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. The Central Program Management Office (CPMO) delivers cross-organization programs, processes, and services with a focus on driving simplification and improved productivity. In this role, you will play a critical role in shaping and driving the strategic direction of the team, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring alignment with global objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the idea, strategy, and roadmap ensuring alignment with global goals and local business needs, support relationships with key stakeholders across different functions and levels, including senior leadership, engineering, product, and operations teams.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of program managers, reporting and analytics specialists, and other CPMO staff, and oversee talent acquisition, performance management, and career development.
  • Partner with Engineering teams in order to drive execution of strategic Horizontal programs, ensuring on-time delivery, within budget while meeting pre-aligned requirements, and lead the centralized Data Engineering/Data Science function for the CPMO.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership, engineering, product, and operations teams.
