About the job
Come build the future of Commerce Media at Google! AMS Sellside Commerce Team is unlocking the future of the endemic onsite business generation. The Retail Media industry is rooted in valuable onsite endemic inventory, and Google Ad Manager (GAM) is poised to unlock access to this click-inside, closed loop attribution paradigm.
As a Strategic Partner Development Lead for Commerce, you will drive a pivotal evolution in Google Ad Manager (GAM), enabling our sell-side stack to meet the demands of retail and non-retail commerce partners. You will advocate the transition toward high-value endemic solutions, managing the launch of next-generation Sponsored Products and Endemic display formats while seamlessly maintaining our core classic click-out ad-serving business.
This dynamic role requires balancing future-forward narratives across both supply (Retailers) and demand (Brands). Actively collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Legal, you will identify, negotiate, and implement complex business development agreements. You will serve as the subject-matter expert for high-stakes partnerships, managing account prioritization, aligning cross-functional go-to-market strategies, and optimizing top-line expectations. If you are ready to connect premium onsite inventory with the global demand while steering a critical business transformation, this role is for you.
Responsibilities

- Contribute to the identification, creation, negotiation, and implementation of effective business development agreements that drive results for Google.
- Contribute to account/partner scoping, development, and prospecting decisions and manage account priorities and allocation of resources.
- Help resolve partner/supplier issues and inquiries (business or technical) with multiple approaches to reach a solution.
- Influence across the team and with Product, Engineering, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to align resources and direction for go-to-market strategy and partner/supplier initiatives.
