Product Manager, Location Sharing

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 1 year of experience taking technical consumer products from conception to launch.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 2 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience working in social networking, location-based services, or a safety-related field.
  • Knowledge of, or continued interest in building accessibility best practices, and experience/curiosity for incorporating inclusion and accessibility into product development methodologies.
  • A passion for connecting people and building experiences that enhance social interactions and safety.

In this role, you will join a team building innovative tools that empower users to stay connected and informed. You will lead the strategy, roadmap, and development of location sharing features.

Responsibilities

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap for location sharing on Android, aligning with the overall Location Sharing vision and user needs.
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, legal, privacy, and marketing teams to drive product development and launch.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and user feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Leverage user data and analytics to measure product performance, identify areas for optimization, and inform product decisions.
  • Advocate for user privacy and data security, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
