Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with project management, leading complex strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Experience with selling or selling against YouTube.
  • Experience with video solutions, including knowledge of the competitive landscape (e.g., competing media platforms).
  • Ability to present to executives and communicate with the Sales team.
  • Excellent storyteller, with the ability to develop and deliver great stories.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills, combined with impeccable business judgment.

As a Video Lead, you develop a deep understanding of Education and Careers advertisers, and how decisions are made. Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and
industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$168,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Partner with Head of Industry and vertical sellers to provide revenue driving support, through deep industry/business knowledge, product expertise and go-to- market strategy.
  • Support annual vertical video strategy, gain agreement across stakeholders and collaborate with the sales to execute.
  • Project management of key video plays and communications to ensure consistent and well executed deployment at scale.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders across sales and products based on business rationale, advertiser needs and revenue opportunity for the sector.
  • Represent product gaps and opportunities to Video Product Specialists and Go-To-Market (GTM) to accelerate business opportunity.
