Senior Supply Chain Program Manager

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 8 years of experience in forecasting/planning/supply chain/materials management or implementing process improvements.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in Supply Chain (e.g., APICS CPIM or CSCP).
  • Experience in materials management within a high-volume, global hardware, or cloud infrastructure environment.
  • Experience in Spreadsheets, SQL, and scripting, including designing and deploying business intelligence dashboards using tools.
  • Experience interacting with technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels.
  • Excellent technical skills for dashboard automation.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As a Senior Supply Chain Program Manager, you will drive the operational excellence and planning for material flow supporting Google’s critical technical infrastructure supply chain. You will be instrumental in ensuring the right materials are in the right place at the right time to meet global production demands. This role requires a blend of direct supply and demand tracking, investigative and process optimization through dashboard automation. You will operate at the intersection of supply chain, engineering, and finance teams, making a significant impact on our operational efficiency and scalability.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$258,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Track delivery schedules and mitigate risks to align component-level material supply with demand forecasts.
  • Create supply/demand models with scenario capabilities specifically for technical infrastructure servers and networking components.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline processes, manage annual planning, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) regarding delivery, inventory, and supplier performance.
  • Design and build automated data pipelines and interactive dashboards to provide real-time insights into material availability and risk exposure.
  • Utilize SQL and other scripts to model supply and demand scenarios, while training stakeholders to foster a data-driven culture.
