Country Operations Manager, Go-To-Market (Italian, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in strategy consulting or similar work requiring project management and problem-solving.
  • Experience navigating and building relationships with senior stakeholders (e.g., VPs and Directors).
  • Ability to communicate in Italian and English fluently in order to communicate with stakeholders in both languages.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience as a networker with strong communication skills to work across various functions, including experience communicating with executive level stakeholders.
  • Experience in long-term strategic thinking balanced with near-term execution skills.
  • Ability to tolerate ambiguity in fast-changing environments, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to take initiative and drive projects in a structured manner.

About the job

The Go-To-Market Operations (GTM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Responsibilities

  • Position Google as a constructive partner, assisting Key Opinion Formers in achieving their goals while protecting Google’s licence to operate and innovate.
  • Partner with the Country Manager, cross-functional leadership teams (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Public Affairs, Cloud, Legal, etc.) and Go-To-Market (GTM) to drive Velocity priorities and operations in accordance with the EMEA Velocity approach.
  • Navigate and partner with cross-functional senior level stakeholders to drive projects and initiatives forward in a structured manner.
