Minimum qualifications:

  • 11 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients with an understanding of marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of traditional and contemporary/online marketing tactics and strategy, and online Performance and Brand marketing.
  • Demonstrated a proven track record of building relationships with and selling to executives at the world's global enterprises.
  • Demonstrated a proven track of cross-functional leadership success without formal leadership authority.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity.
  • Excellent executive level presence.

About the job

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the world's biggest advertisers. You will be helping a large, complex, global organization navigate the changing way the consumers engage with the brands and products. The advertiser uses a diverse set of Google solutions and you will provide the best of One Google to the partnership.

You will analyze client business objectives and test results to accurately assess needs, collaboratively developing and managing business plans that define strategies and tactics for long-term success.

You will develop high-level relationships to serve as a trusted consultant with major customers to optimize the advertising, understand and adapt to Google's ongoing product and technology developments. You will develop scalable and leading edge solutions for clients in order to optimize the advertising expenditures and maximize use of Google products (Search, Video, Display, Mobile etc.).

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $152,000-$228,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Act as a tactical business lead, managing external relationships, both client and agency, and internal relationships to ensure our clients priorities are understood and that we maximize our mutual growth potential.
  • Demonstrate active curiosity and discover relevant insights into customers strategies and decision-making, bringing along teammates and cross-functional partners. 
  • Explore and serve the needs of key clients setting the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can generate maximum ROI by reaching the right audiences at the right times and in the right ways.
  • Serve as an advocate and leader within the immediate team and across the broader organization, applying your knowledge of marketing and media strategy and investigate skills to drive joint strategy development and growth.
  • Educate our customers and relevant stakeholders to embrace Google's advertising products and technologies.
