Minimum qualifications:

The Music Content Operations (MCO) team aims to build and support a complete, high quality music content ecosystem. We leverage deep musical expertise and industry experience to build scalable processes, effectively translating business needs into streamlined operational solutions.

With over 2 billion users turning to YouTube every month for music, our goal is to make YouTube Music the "best place for every music fan". YouTube's platform includes a massive catalog of music content, from music videos and Shorts to podcasts and live streams.

The MCO team is central to this experience. Our goal is to efficiently build and support the world’s greatest music corpus and power the products that depend on it. We leverage deep musical expertise and industry experience to translate business needs into streamlined operational solutions, aiming to make it easy for all Music and Podcast customers to have a great content experience.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000-$157,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and develop requirements for operational workflows.
  • Design, document, and drive implementation of scalable operations solutions.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to proactively drive continuous improvement of solutions and workflows via Operations best practices.
  • Work closely with vendors, ensuring quality goals are met.
  • Improve product feature offerings by providing feedback to internal cross-functional teams.
