Workspace Sales Specialist, Expansion, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in sales development, sales strategy or field sales in the technology industry, with cloud products and platforms.
  • Experience working in an account management/sales planning role to support client relationship management in this region.
  • Experience working with the public sector market, including government, state, municipalities, or education entities across the LATAM region.
  • Experience selling Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Productivity, or Collaboration technology solutions to clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience securing and growing customer bases, carrying and exceeding business goals in a sales role.
  • Experience prioritizing, planning, and organizing solution-based sales activity within business cycles.
  • Experience building and maintaining executive relationships, ensuring customer success, adoption and expansion.
  • Experience working cross-functionally, including account teams, technical leads, procurement, and legal, to inventory software estate, build business cases for transformation and implementation plans, and close agreements.
  • Knowledge of market trends, products, and solutions in Cloud and Productivity and Collaboration.
  • Speak English and Spanish fluently in order to effectively communicate in this customer-facing sales role.

As a Google Workspace Sales Specialist focused on Public Sector expansion sales, you will help us grow our Workspace business by maintaining and growing relationships with our existing customer base. You will work with customers to deliver true business value, demonstrate product functionality, and provide a comprehensive overview of key business use cases. You will accelerate Google Workspace business growth by engaging with our clients, building internal/external alignment, and successfully manage opportunities in an overlay model to the Field Sales organization. You will also prospect, qualify, develop, and facilitate Google Workspace opportunities for growth through cloud driven business transformation. You will build a pipeline and work with account teams to create customer solutions and drive agreements. You will lead day-to-day relationships with external customer stakeholders, leading with empathy, while identifying innovative ways to multiply your impact and the impact of the team as a whole.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities

  • Drive pipeline, and expand the current customer base, promoting Workspace Productivity and Collaboration solutions to new groups inside existing customer organizations while delivering or exceeding against quarterly business and growth goals.
  • Increase engagement and experience for customers and prospects, building scalable and referenceable campaigns and testimonials alongside the Program Management team to maximize territory.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with customers, actively influencing strategic direction and establishing as a trusted advisor.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert to the Field organization and cross-functional teams, sharing best practices and improving product and market knowledge and skills.
