- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience creating complex data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
- 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.
- Experience in driving stakeholder relationships, to ensure alignment globally across broad cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, investigative-thinking, prioritization, and program management skills.
- Expertise in global or regional strategy and operations, utilizing key performance indicators to drive insights, results, and global impact.
About the job
As a Senior Associate in Strategy & Operations, you will support the most critical strategic priorities for Ads teams, facilitate cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, provide business critical insights using analytics, and help teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward.
In this role, you will develop solutions to complex, ambiguous and high-visibility business problems and opportunities. You will be at the forefront of building and driving these solutions while working closely with business teams, influencing the vision and goal setting, helping transform early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives, and much more. You'll have a direct opportunity to drive significant, multi-year business transformation.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$170,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Define, structure, launch and drive strategic and operational initiatives for gTech Ads Customer Support teams, while acting as a strategic thought partner to leadership.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders and leaders to gather relevant information, context, and drive business analysis with effective project communication and management.
- Enable critical business decision making by working with cross-functional stakeholders and cross-pollinate learnings.
- Partner with gTech Ads Solutions leadership in end-to-end driving of strategic initiatives (including global priorities).
- Provide oversight and connectivity to business-focused standalone initiatives and remove roadblocks to execution, and eliminate conflicts.
