Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in customer-facing roles, driving and securing professional services or transformation strategies in the cloud or enterprise technology domain.
  • Experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies, services, and adoption frameworks.
  • Experience managing commercial agreement pursuit and services agreement life-cycles, including qualification, scoping, proposal development, and agreement negotiation.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
  • Experience managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies.
  • Ability to drive business outcomes and consumption acceleration through governance and execution oversight of signed engagements along with building and maintaining executive-level customer relationships, acting as a advisor and portfolio leader.
  • Ability to be a thought leadership, business, and industry acumen, coupled with experience collaborating across internal organizations.

As a Pursuit Lead, you will accelerate Google Cloud adoption by architecting comprehensive professional services, learning, and technical account management strategies that align with critical customer business goals. By activating the GCC services strategy within your region, you will ensure seamless engagement throughout the early business lifecycle, partnering closely with Field Sales, Customer Engineering, and Consulting teams to prioritize high-impact activities.

You will drive operational excellence by leveraging pipeline analytics to execute proactive action plans, while maintaining accountability for the commercial process from initial agreement qualification and service packaging to delivery strategy and final contract execution. Through trusted relationships with regional sales and partner leadership, you will serve as a catalyst, ensuring customers possess the service roadmaps necessary to realize the full value of Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate the services sales process from lead generation to delivery handoff, maintaining a healthy pipeline and accurate booking forecasts to drive growth.
  • Lead Google Cloud Platform (GCP) implementation strategies and funding mechanisms to accelerate customer adoption, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
  • Translate business use cases into delivery models and statements of work.
  • Manage overall services strategies and lead negotiations for PSO SOWs, pricing, and master agreements in collaboration with Legal and Agreement teams.
  • Develop account plans and service strategies in tandem with Sales and Customer Engineering to deliver winning, customer-centric solutions.
