Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 6 years of supply chain operations and management experience within the consumer hardware sector.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • 5 years of experience in a leadership capacity, adept at influencing cross-functional teams and managing direct reports.
  • Excellent executive-level communication skills, with a mastery of distilling complex logistical challenges into clear, actionable strategic summaries.
  • Deep proficiency in global demand/supply planning and advanced predictive forecasting.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Program Manager, Pixel Sales & Operations Planning team drives the end-to-end global supply and demand planning for Pixel programs, optimizing multi-billion dollar inventory portfolios and ensuring industry-leading service levels. This high-visibility role orchestrates the global S&OP process, serving as a primary strategic advisor to executive leadership on high-stakes supply chain investment decisions. The manager is responsible for leading cross-functional alignment to create market-responsive consensus forecasts. They own product-line P&L health by enforcing rigorous accountability for global inventory, material spend, and gross margin optimization. Finally, the role defines NPI and lifecycle strategies using advanced predictive analytics to maximize global business and acts as the ultimate authority on phone's business performance.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$258,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Architect and institutionalize global supply-demand frameworks that optimize multi-billion dollar inventory portfolios and deliver industry-leading service levels.
  • Orchestrate the global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for phones. Serve as a primary strategic advisor to executive leadership to catalyze high-stakes supply chain investment decisions.
  • Lead cross-functional synchronization across Demand & Supply Planning, Sales, and Product Management to engineer market-responsive consensus forecasts and influence long-range demand signals. Synthesize regional market intelligence into global strategic directives that ensure absolute organizational alignment.
  • Own product-line P&L health by enforcing rigorous accountability for global inventory, material spend, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and gross margin optimization.
  • Define NPI and lifecycle strategy through advanced predictive analytics, dictating launch timing, capacity positioning, and risk mitigation to maximize global business.
