Ad Tech Sales Engineer, Apps (English, Urdu)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in mobile app development (Android, iOS or Unity).
  • 3 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Urdu fluently to communicate in this customer-facing role

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Software Development Kit (SDK) Plugin Development.
  • Experience with Mobile App Analytics (Firebase) and Data Analysis.
  • Experience in AdTech Space (Ad Business Generation, User Acquisition, ROAS, LTV).
  • Ability to troubleshoot implementation issues and surface potential root causes of bugs.
  • Ability to interact with external customers to understand needs and position products and also collaborate with engineers and translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences (and vice versa).
  • Ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects with engaging priorities while working separately to drive projects to completion.

Ad Tech Sales Engineers (ATS) are united by our passion for technology and driving impact. participate at the intersection of sales, product, engineering, and customers, we focus on bringing the right solutions to customers and accelerating adoption of our products.

In this role you will have experience in engagement with mobile app developers in the industry. You will use your insights from working with these companies to influence implementation of best practices, product strategy and design. You will be working closely with the sales teams as the product expert and technical consultant on ad business generation products to help mobile app companies across SEA and Pakistan build and grow the businesses. You will work with external partners on technical product optimizations and issues (e.g., implementation issues, code performance, debugging), creating technical documents (e.g., codelabs, hangout on air), scaling solutions and processes, positioning new products, and driving adoption of new products and features to market with uptake and growth. You will also learn Google ad business generation products (AdMob and Firebase), develop technical and business expertise in mobile app business generation, and develop sales and product strategies for driving adoption and growth. Lastly you will learn how to work with partners, cross-functional teams, and leadership to execute industry changing projects.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Build expertise around mobile apps and business generation products and implementations (Android, iOS).
  • Resolve product and technical escalations from sales teams and develop solutions to scale support.
  • Drive technical and product consultations with mobile app developers. Working closely with sales teams to provide the right solution for business.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize sales strategies and workflows. Develop and roll out best practices to accelerate product adoption and growth.
  • Work with Product Management and Engineering teams to influence product strategy, design, and prioritization.
