About the job

The Device & Services Business Organization (DSBO) was formed with the purpose of bringing the best of Google’s software and hardware to our users by bringing to market and distributing a Google-branded hardware portfolio. The team is responsible for managing partnerships with carriers, retailers, and resellers worldwide and designing the commercial strategy for the Pixel, Nest, and Fitbit portfolio.

The Strategy and Operations team supports the APAC Devices and Services Business Organization by providing strategic guidance and scaled support needed to enable the growth in India and other APAC markets. In this highly cross-functional role, you’ll help solve complex ecosystem, partner, and market issues. You’ll bring commercial acumen, strong stakeholder management, and operational accuracy. You will work directly with the India and APAC Country Directors and APAC DSBO Leadership on high priority topics that cross-cut the organization. You will lead multiple strategic projects or initiatives at the same time, and provide clear, high-impact deliverables that influence leadership and help evolve the DSBO strategy and organization. You will turn insights/recommendations into action by working closely with teams and with key cross-functional leaders (e.g., DSPA, Finance, Legal, gTech, Comms, Marketing, People Ops, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the India DSBO Country lead to develop strategic perspectives on critical sales topics that drive key decisions and set the future direction of APAC sales.
  • Contribute to key strategic projects sponsored by APAC DSBO leadership and play a pivotal role in driving and managing the progress of these initiatives.
  • Support India and APAC DSBO Leads and their teams in effectively utilizing market trends and customer insights to identify new growth opportunities and potential risks, providing guidance to the team.
  • Collaborate with product planning, marketing, and sales teams to ensure that new products, campaigns, and promotional activities align with the overall category strategy to drive demand, business growth, and profitability.
