Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience working in marketing, technology, customer relationship development by working with digital media or digital marketing/advertising solutions, and media advertising.
- 4 years of experience leading, mentoring, and developing teams.
- Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders across organizational boundaries to influence across teams with similar objectives, aligning resources and direction.
- Understanding of Media Industry issues to advance Google's forward-looking strategies within the marketplace by being a creative and performance-minded thinker.

The gTech Ads Customer Success Acceleration (CSA) team is a solution-generation that helps the sales teams and advertisers. These solutions need to be scalable to support millions of customers worldwide. In addition to consulting on the customer side, we work with Sales, Product and Engineering teams within Google to develop better tools and services to improve the products based on the evolving needs of the users. As a cross-functional and global team, it's our job to ensure the customers get the best RoI from their investments with Google.
The goal in gTech Ads GCS is to be trusted experts for the customers and internal stakeholders creating a thriving ads ecosystem where the customers are successful. The gTech Ads GCS team is an organization designed to drive high value and impact for the largest small and medium businesses in the GCS portfolio. Working with the cross program solutions teams and the Central Operations team, you will collaborate with the key GCS sales stakeholders in the Japan market, to help them solve client objectives, providing media planning and measurement solutions for advertisers.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing a large team of Digital Marketing Strategists and their managers supporting GCS’ top advertisers across Japan. You will be a critical partner to the Sales leadership teams and be responsible for day-to-day partnership in achieving strategic objectives and running the day-to-day digital media operations for the business.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of high performing Digital Marketing Strategists who work collaboratively with Sales teams to drive marketing objectives and account level excellence for customers.
- Represent gTech Ads for the Japan business, the holistic gamut of gTech Ads solutions across Policy, Customer support and scalable Tech solutions with Sales Executives.
- Drive active partnership with Sales leadership to align priorities, address customer needs and achieve business goals, leverage CSA service strategy (MoS, service segmentation).
- Provide mentorship, career evaluations, professional development plans, coach your team to support and help advertisers maximize opportunities, improve performance and enhance ROI across various clients from industries such as, Lead Generation, E-commerce and Multi-channel businesses.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product and Program Management teams to enable Google’s Go-to-Market strategy for Ads solutions across the customers.
