Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Experience in people management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of online media combined with communication skills and problem-solving abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow.
  • Ability to anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients.
  • Ability to set the goal and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
  • Excellent influence and relationship-build skills and provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis.

As a Head of Industry, you will lead and coach teams that use consultative business skills to understand our advertisers needs and deliver measurable solutions. You will help teams deliver on goals and partner directly with clients to exceed business and growth goals across markets and verticals.

In this role, you will contribute excellent communication skills and an ability to train and motivate teams, while taking a problem-solving approach to business management. You will be responsible for hitting and exceeding quarterly sales goals while maximizing customer satisfaction and meeting partnership business objectives

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $195,000-$275,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Experience in brand and performance marketing/Return on Investment (ROI) driven media strategies.
  • Manage the core Sales team and engage with cross-functional talent to deliver insights, ideas, and customer service that drive growth for our clients and for Google.
  • Analyze data trends and performance, develop strategic business plans, and lead preparation and delivery of strategic business presentations and narratives.
  • Partner with leaders of other teams to develop thought leadership that equips teams across Large Customer Sales (LCS) to deliver growth.
