Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python, etc.).
- 3 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
- Experience with embedded system architecture and platforms such as Android or Linux.
- Experience managing multiple products and streams of work with excellent time management.
- Passion for innovation in the automotive field.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
About the job
As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.
You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.
The Android Partner Engineering team works closely with a global and set of partners who use Android to build devices and services. The team works to align the strategic goals of Google and its partners to make Android the platform of choice across multiple consumer and enterprise domains.
As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for enabling Android auto across ~200 programs per year, with active users and tremendous growth opportunities in an industry going through major technological transformation.

Responsibilities
- Manage technical projects with automotive industry partners (such as 4-wheeler and 2-wheeler manufacturers), guiding Android auto solution planning and implementation.
- Provide consultancy and technical expertise regarding Android auto integration in emerging industry (such as Electric 2-wheelers) and system architectures.
- Maintain and enhance Android auto compatibility and platform updatability.
- Advocate for and translate industry needs to Google Engineering and Product teams in order to shape future platform development. Inform strategic partnership decisions.
- Develop tools and processes to streamline partner engagements and product quality.
