Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
- 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, 0 to 1, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder, or related technical roles.
- 6 years of experience in consumer-internet products or SaaS Business-to-Business (B2B) software.
- 4 years of experience building and shipping technical products.
- Experience in partnerships, collaborating with enterprises on creating technical solutions.
- Experience with platforms or standards bodies that influence global ecosystem direction.
- Experience in roadmap development of large-scale platform architecture involves distributed trust, authentication, or data integrity components such as SSL/PKI.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
Rich Communication Services (RCS) for business is a new product and is growing quickly. You will be joining a fast-paced environment where new discoveries are frequent and require constant adaptation. You will have ambitious goals and many opportunities to prove yourself. Expect lots of direct customer interaction, high impact, and challenging tradeoffs.
In this role, you will be developing product solutions to complex problems with long-term strategic impact to both Google and the entire messaging ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the roadmap for establishing scaled business verification and trust across the ecosystem, which includes global OEMs, mobile operators, and standards bodies.
- Contribute to the ambition of creating the most engaging and safest business messaging platform on earth.
- Spend time with customers, users, and partners around the world to understand their needs and translate them directly to the future of global communication.
- Identify the highest impact opportunities both for Google and the entire RCS ecosystem, which could be related to AI-powered agents, conversational design, commerce, trust and safety, personalized brand engagement, or other areas.
- Enable brands to create the most engaging customer experience possible.
