Regional Security Architect - Google Threat Intelligence, Public Sector

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in cybersecurity matters (e.g., threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures; malware analysis; vulnerability analysis; deep/dark web monitoring).
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as needed.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Certification in Cloud or Security Industry.
  • Experience working in a defensive cyber operations or threat intelligence role.
  • Knowledge of product and solution market trends in the cybersecurity industry (e.g., ransomware, attack frameworks, zero trust, etc.).

About the job

Cyber Security is one of the most impactful topics for our customers, and the work we do has a real impact on national security. Team members have an opportunity to help mitigate the risk of cyber attack on our nation's most important agencies. In this role, you will primarily support the Google Threat Intelligence offerings, formerly Mandiant Advantage Threat Intelligence and Virus Total.

Must be a US Citizen to meet customer and compliance requirements, including potential access to classified information.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$180,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Work with Security Sales and Google Cloud teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand customer technical and compliance objections, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers.
  • Work with all Google Cloud Security products to demonstrate and validate solution benefits in customer and partner environments. Maintain excellent technical knowledge.
  • Support Google Cloud Security opportunities and relationships, own technical aspects of solutions, and deliver technical presentations, product and solution briefings, proofs-of-concepts, and demos to customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver product messaging in an effort to highlight our solutions value proposition using techniques including presentations, product demonstrations, white papers, trial management, and response documents.
  • Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events, as needed.
