As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

Our team's mission is to build the next-generation Conversion Infrastructure to power external Ads products such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Campaign Manager 360, Display and Video 360, and Search Ads 360. Our team has taken up a huge undertaking of building a very critical infrastructure that will replace multiple existing large scale systems that are currently being used to perform conversion measurement, attribution and conversion modeling for external products and internal services such as Ads Bidding.

As a Software Engineer, you will help build the next-generation of data processing infrastructure for Google Analytics.

We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the cross-functional team partners (e.g., Product Managers, Program Managers, Privacy Working Group, Engineering Teams across Ads) to understand their requirements and build the products to meet those requirements.
  • Shape technical strategy and define product roadmaps.
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables that include both infrastructure and product-focused projects.
  • Lead a sub-team of junior software engineers (dependent on overall business scope).
  • Build, maintain and evolve the Google Analytics stack.
