Minimum qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, people, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and align senior leaders and large teams.

About the job

As the Product Manager AI Leader will be a part of the Google Cloud Security Products organization, also known as GUSTO (Google Unified SecOps and Threat Operations), which is at the forefront of creating a unified, AI-powered security platform.

This team is responsible for the strategy and development of the security product portfolio, including Chronicle, Mandiant, and our native cloud security services. The mission is to transform our extensive security expertise and threat intelligence into products that empower customers to defend themselves against evolving cyber threats.

The organization is making significant investments in AI, with a goal of integrating AI into the core of its products and hiring top talent in the field. You will be instrumental in this effort, shaping the future of AI in Google's security products.

This is a unique opportunity to define the future of cybersecurity by leveraging Google's vast resources and cutting-edge AI to address the world's most complex and evolving security threats. This leader will be at the forefront of innovation, with the mandate to conduct groundbreaking research and translate it into products that will directly impact the safety and security of users and organizations worldwide. As a Product Manager at Google, you could be working on new technologies, platforms, consumer facing products, and/or enterprise systems. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $282,000-$392,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-powered security solutions within Google Cloud.
  • Lead groundbreaking research to identify and capture innovative opportunities at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity.
  • Partner with executive leadership, engineering, and design teams to translate complex technical concepts into actionable product requirements.
  • Establish and analyze key success metrics to measure product impact and continuously refine the overarching AI security strategy.
  • Serve as a primary thought leader for AI in cybersecurity, influencing the direction of the global security industry.
