Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in compensation.
  • Experience acting as a technical consultant on compensation projects while managing stakeholders.
  • Experience presenting compensation strategies and data-driven recommendations to Director-level or C-suite stakeholders.
  • Experience using spread sheets, SQL, or database tools.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in a tech company or an environment with unique talent.
  • Ability to proactively experiment with Google AI tools, demonstrating a commitment to improve efficiency and ways of working.
  • Ability to grow in a fast-paced environment by adjusting strategies as needed to creatively solve problems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust with executive stakeholders and influence others to align direction.

About the job

In this role, your primary focus is to support the delivery and design of Reward projects and programs for your dedicated Unit(s). You will act as a trusted consultant, applying your expertise to solve issues and mitigate risks. You will be expected to guide others through ways of working and process improvements, collaborating with the global Reward team including the Reward leads.Artificial intelligence will be one humanity’s most transformative inventions. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $196,000-$215,600 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Advise business leaders by providing data-backed advice on unique reward challenges, acting as a trusted consultant leveraging knowledge of the business and the talent market.
  • Execute the delivery of core reward "heartbeat" activities (e.g., annual pay reviews, promotion cycles).
  • Serve as a go-to person for reward issues, thinking holistically and transferring domain-specific knowledge with impact.
  • Build impactful collaborations across GDM to collectively solve problems, ensuring various perspectives are valued in reaching shared objectives.
  • Anticipate codependencies and manage risks while solving problems to reach optimal solutions for the business.
