Workplace Programs Manager

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in program management (workplace or facilities), with an emphasis on event management, hospitality, fitness, corporate services.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience developing and managing budgets including capital justification, ensuring innovation in delivery efficiencies along with contract management capabilities.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects at regional levels from conception to delivery, incorporating change management and user engagement.
  • Ability to act with integrity in all business transactions and maintain readiness to travel across the region.
  • Ability to engage large crowds and executive leadership through compelling and articulate verbal presentations.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels while collaborating with business units to meet goals.

About the job

As a Workplace Programs Manager, APAC, your responsibilities encompass planning and delivery for Food, Health and Performance and Event Management programs and experiences. You will hold regional accountability for specific business functions and local (country level) responsibilities for the delivery of all three programs via an extended vendor workforce. The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team creates inspiring spaces and innovative services that bring Google’s culture and values to life. We build and maintain all aspects of what keeps our Googley workspaces operating seamlessly across multiple cities and regions globally. We also manage the industry-leading services that help make Google a great place to work -- from how we design healthy and collaborative workspaces, create energizing food experiences, provide convenient transportation and fitness options, to delivering environments where Google and our employees can thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Shape annual strategic plans to align with regional objectives, while strictly managing approved budgets through established financial controls to oversee capital and operational expenditures for the organization.
  • Direct complex service delivery through vendor partners using a governance framework, managing regional nuances like cultural differences and regulatory requirements to ensure operational excellence across APAC.
  • Build trusted partnerships with business leaders to enhance employee experience, collaborating with cross-functional teams including IT and Finance to drive efficient integration of regional initiatives and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Support the regional Project Office by driving initiatives like technology platforms, providing critical regional context to global teams, and offering strategic input for real estate decisions.
  • Mitigate business risks by integrating regional factors like legislative changes into planning, ensuring vendor Business Continuity Plans meet requirements, and maintaining operational resilience in an engaging environment.
