Minimum qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • 10 years of experience selling Cloud IT solutions to companies.
  • 10 years of experience leading teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with customer engagement, growing the business/product, and working in the South America market.
  • Experience in cloud computing.
  • Commercial sales experience in a global organization, leading in a hyperscale growth environment.
  • Experience with marketing or sales support in developing product, solution messaging, narratives, and value propositions, with excellent market reputation and actionable list of network contacts.
  • Knowledge of enterprise software/infrastructure marketplace.
  • Effective cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills.

About the job

As the Director of Google Cloud Sales for Brazil - Large Accounts, you'll have a highly visible leadership role in a fast-growing, quick-moving area of Google’s business. You will drive the team to meet and exceed business growth goals while driving customer satisfaction. You will have an understanding of the technology of Google’s solutions in the enterprise space, and bring an operational approach to recruiting, coaching, and managing your team.

You will have responsibility for the strategy and execution of the organization’s business plan along with achieving goals within the market. You'll drive business growth and customer acquisition for Google Cloud. In addition, you will be the figurehead for Google Cloud internally and will work cross-functionally to ensure alignment and an integrated go-to-market with other organizations.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage entrepreneurial talents, and will run the business autonomously while leveraging where the group fits into the broader organization.

Responsibilities

  • Build the Large Account Strategy focused on financial services in Brazil to meet quarterly and annual business growth goals by working with enterprise companies, with a constant march up-market.
  • Work at executive level with key customers and prospects, participating directly in the region’s most critical agreements and accounts while managing a valuable external network of partners and customers.
  • Inject operational excellence into the organization and create innovative programs focused on achieving growth at scale. 
  • Deliver organizational growth through the indirect management of the Cloud ecosystem in Brazil. Contribute strategically to the direction of Google Cloud products and services, including developing role and industry-appropriate business playbooks.
  • Manage the team directly and the Cloud ecosystem indirectly to deliver organizational growth. Attract, develop, and coach talent, fostering a high-performance culture.
