Software Engineering Intern, 2026

Participation in the internship program requires that you are located in Singapore for the duration of the internship program.

Google is a global company and, in order to facilitate efficient collaboration and communication globally, English proficiency is a requirement for this internship program.

Google will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require Google's sponsorship of a visa.


Minimum qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with coding in C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, or another relevant programming language.
  • Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to actively participate in technical discussions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to work on projects related to mobile development, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, developing large software systems, or security software development.
  • Ability to showcase tech projects and participate in computer science-related extracurricular activities.
