About the job

At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

The Consumer Shopping team is responsible for building the platforms and experiences that serve users and ecosystems. The team's mission is to create seamless and coherent shopping journeys across Google, from inspiration, Research and Consideration (R&C), purchase, and cross-funnel, as well as AI-powered experiences that are tailored to consumers' needs and deliver great value for merchants. The team provides comprehensive results and helps shoppers to discover, compare, and purchase products across Google Surfaces. We support and partner with the retail ecosystem, from large retailers to small local shops, to help them build their brand, be discovered and foster lasting customer relationships, and build sustainable businesses to thrive in today’s omnichannel world.

Users come first at Google. Nowhere is this more important than on our Advertising and Commerce team: we believe that ads and commercial information can be highly useful to our users if that information is relevant to what our users wish to find or do. Advertisers worldwide use Google Ads to promote their products; publishers use AdSense to serve relevant ads on their website; and business around the world use our products (like Google Shopping, and Google Wallet) to support their online businesses and bring users into their offline stores. We are constantly innovating to deliver the most effective advertising and commerce opportunities of tomorrow.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
