Cross-Google Partner Manager, Global Partnerships (English, Korean)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience within one or more of the following fields: Partnerships, Business Development, Strategy, Consulting, or Sales.
  • Experience influencing across different functions and levels in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently to collaborate with colleagues and complete tasks and projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing partners, including C-level stakeholders in Korea.
  • Knowledge or equivalent expertise and passion in AI, with capability to envision and articulate AI technology’s application to various industries.
  • Ability to seed, rally, and execute new ideas and impact independently amidst complex and dynamic environments involving numerous teams, regions, and competing priorities.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English, as well as high emotional intelligence that enables close working relationships with multiple teams and executive-level leaders internally and externally.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

Partnerships Solutions incubates transformative/innovative big ideas and rallies diverse functional teams towards cross-Google joint business plans, new opportunities, and strategic initiatives.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and apply deep insights across partners, Google’s services, relevant industries, and emerging AI technology to strategically “spot the plays” that create mutual value for Google teams and for partners.
  • Strengthen partner relationships and drive cross-Google alignment by executing cross-Google Joint Business Plans, executive engagement coordination and briefings, and AI-focused summits.
  • Collaborate across Google to identify, drive, and inform the closing of cross-Google agreements, often facilitating alignment and communication between multiple teams. 
  • Act as a APAC retail/commerce partnerships lead, by working across Google to develop engagement strategy and build scaled programs including Retail Advisory Council and NRF management.
