Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- At least 2 years of experience in a Hardware Reliability Engineer (Electronic Product Manufacturing) position or equivalent experience.
- Experience in applying Design for Reliability techniques.
- Manufacturing or operations experience in Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) management and Supply Chain management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and achieve goals.
- Strong analytical and OEM management skills, and the ability to solve problems cross-functionally.
- Ability communicate in English fluently to participate in complex technical discussions.
About the job
As a Reliability Engineer, you will play a key role in creating new consumer electronic products that meet a high bar for reliability and performance. You will work closely with the product management and design engineering teams to define standards, specify tests, and then supervise test execution and failure analysis. A broad engineering background and command of statistical methods will help to inform design of new products. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills will be key to ensuring adoption of your technical recommendations.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain reliability test preparation at each production phase
- Lead lab infrastructure development (e.g. reliability test setup, calibration, Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility)
- Develop and validate the new test/fixture effectiveness, new reliability test, equipment and test scripts
- Lead the onsite investigation/deep analysis of reliability issues
- Develop Design of Experiments, onsite fast validation and reliability lab capability ; Discuss with the project team to adjust build priority and reliability sampling target
