Account Manager, Food/Beverage/Healthcare, Large Customer Sales (English, Japanese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in ‌account management, sales, and marketing ‌in‌ ‌the digital/media/advertising‌ industry.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry/client/agency.
  • Ability to deliver results under pressure to client services.
  • Ability to be detail oriented and quickly complete a large volume of high-quality work.
  • Excellent leadership, organization, communication, teamwork and problem solving skills.

About the job

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. As the Account Manager for the Food/Beverage/Healthcare team, you will develop and manage relationships with advertisers in Japan. You will be an advisor and consultant, as well as an advocate for clients within Google. You will use problem-solving skills to grow existing business, develop and obtain new business, and support the team with account and market knowledge and other collateral.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to Google's advertisers by identifying and solving client problems proactively and creatively.
  • Build relationships with leading clients, media and creative agencies.
  • Analyze data trends and client performance, and develop strategic client account plans.
  • Learn and work with Google product experts to develop and deliver innovative solutions, optimize campaign results, and identify opportunities to increase advertiser investments.
  • Work cross-functionally within Google and collaborate on projects to drive client success.
