  • Experience working with sourcing from manufacturers for industrial scale infrastructure products engaging in pricing, agreements, and fulfillment.
  • Ability to take existing systems and process and guide/suggest.
  • Ability to take on complex and undefined asks and create strategies that can then be scaled and executed to guide results.
  • Excellent critical thinking, exercise sound judgement, and problem-solving skills.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Equipment Supply Chain Spares team is focused on the sourcing, planning, positioning, and delivery of critical spares to meet maintenance and repair needs for Google Cloud's Data Center buildings infrastructure. This team is responsible for identifying, sourcing, planning, and positioning parts to serve the Data Centers working cross-functionally and globally to do so.

As a Spares Program Manager, you are responsible for ensuring supply chain spares readiness for our Data Centers, with specific attention to process optimization, stakeholder management, sourcing, and procurement operations. You will manage supply chain risks, engaging suppliers on pricing and prioritization, communicating supply status, and engaging cross-functionally to establish processes in a growing and dynamic space. You will direct spares supply chain experience. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Create and implement new processes centered around sourcing, procurement, fulfillment, and supplier engagement all with a spare lens.
  • Guide spares supply chain readiness across all data center equipment spares parts.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for mechanical commodities that align with the organization's technical requirements and business objectives.
  • Lead the supplier selection and operational reviews. Negotiate and manage master supply agreements, statements of work, and other critical commercial agreements to secure supply and manage costs.
  • Guide supplier relationship management by conducting regular operational and business reviews with key partners to monitor performance, address issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
